My Demonic Ghost - hard copy available NOW!

My great friend Jacinta Maree's AMAZING paranormal novel, My Demonic Ghost, is finally available today in hard copy! I fell in love with it when I first read it about six months ago and I still can't stop talking about it to anyone who'll listen. I can't wait to pick up my copy and give it a home on my bookshelves!
Head on over to Amazon to get your copy! You will not regret it! It is without doubt, the best book I had the pleasure of reading in 2012.

Snow! Snow! And even more snow!

Well I’ve had a very crazy week!!! The snow froze over, then it started to melt, and now tonight it’s absolutely thrown it down with a new coat... I wouldn’t be surprised if I wake up tomorrow morning and it’s the thickest it’s been yet!

Anyway, I’ve been very busy. My little cat had her spay operation yesterday. It’s made her a little bit sick so she’s being doted on hand and foot, getting served fresh chicken and milk. I feel sorry for her because she’s got to wear one of those trumpet-collars so she can’t mess around with her stitches. It should all heal up soon though so we can take it off her.

Aside from being kitty-nurse, I’ve been doing all sorts of work for uni; even now, I’m taking a half-hour break from the latest assignment. The last one was quite fun: a practical report on when we were dusting for fingerprints and picking owl pellets apart. This one’s not got me as excited – just a load of theory – but I’m trying to get it done within this next week. Then I can knuckle down and focus on my dissertation... argh!

I do, however, have the Blindsighted Wanderer blog tour to look forward to! Not long to go now and I’m so excited! Roll on February!

Also, speaking of February, in a week or so I’m going to stay with my grandfather for the month. It’s something we do every year, but I’m quite happy this time because my lovely writing desk is down there! It’s getting moved into my room so I’ll finally get to use it! Can’t wait!

See you all soon!

Authorgraph

First of all... (drumroll)... I've signed up for Authorgraph! I've been meaning to do it for a while and finally got around to it! Basically it lets you get your ebook signed by the author over the internet. It's completely free and easy to do, and there are loads of authors on there, including my brilliant friends Jacinta Maree (My Demonic Ghost) and CS Yelle (Protector of Ter Chadain). I can't wait to get started!

Well, I'm resurfacing after being bogged under for the past week and a half! I've been either stuck in university or stuck in bed sick, but now I'm on the mend and overjoyed with the snow we've had! It's only a couple of inches at the moment, and that could be all we have. But I've heard that it MIGHT reach up to 10-15cm thick so I'm hoping for that!

I love snow; I'm one of these people who still grins like a little kid when I see the first flakes falling. Here in Cheshire we tend to get our coldest part of winter round about now, in January and a little into February, so if we're going to get any snow it's now. Hopefully the rain will behave itself and stay away for a while so we can enjoy it!

Take care, everyone!

Blog tour

Hi, everyone!

I hope 2013 is going well for you all! I just wanted to share some news with you: next month, Blindsighted Wanderer will be having a blog tour, thanks to Tam’s TwoCents and Bookend 2 Bookend! From 10th-27th February, there will be all sorts going on for me, Silas, Merrin and Raphael, across blogs far and wide! I’m getting really excited about all that – I had a lot of fun the other day, starting to get things ready – and I’m trying to get as much uni work done now as I can, so I can spend those 17 brilliant days back in the Elitland.

In regards to Blindsighted Wanderer, a huge thank you to everyone who’s bought themselves a copy, left me a review, liked my facebook page... I have no words for how much your support means to me!

In other news... apparently next week the temperature’s supposed to be plummeting to -15°C (5°F). I’m a bit sceptical that it’ll happen, since we heard something similar the other week and it just ended up being A LOT of rain. But hopefully it will actually go cold this time, and I’ll get that snow I wish for every single year! Or, even if it doesn’t snow, it just gets frosty... you can still go sledding with a plastic bag if not a sledge!

Hope everyone’s doing well!

First post of 2013! Whoohoo!

Hi, everyone!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year! Things have been busy for me... I’m in the middle of research for a new novel, and hopefully I’ll start actually writing it before long. I’m quite excited about it, and I can’t wait to get back to work.

In the meantime, I’ve been taking down all the Christmas decorations, working on university assignments, and entertaining my cat. This was her first Christmas so she spoilt for choice when it came to new things to play with! The tree became a particular favourite, so now it’s not there anymore, she doesn’t know what to do with herself!

I’ve also fallen in love with the Snowman and the Snowdog. I’m a huge fan of the original film and when I found out they were doing a sequel, I was a bit sceptical. But now I can’t stop watching it. I wouldn’t say it’s as good as the first one, and there’s a distinct lack of Walking in the Air (one of my favourite songs ever), but saying that, the new song has really grown on me too. So, all in all, I’m impressed to say the least! When snow finally does decide to hit us, I’m definitely making myself a little snowdog!

Hope everyone is enjoying 2013! Stay safe and have fun!
